Polaris Brutus Vehicle Release

Polaris has come up with an answer to John Deere’s Gator industrial UTV and it’s name is Brutus. This beast can handle just about any job thrown at it. It comes in three different models and its front PTO system of attachments handle a variety of jobs that previously required a whole fleet of vehicles. All three models are driven by a 24 horsepower diesel motor by Yanmar, a legend in the heavy duty diesel industry. Polaris makes history with Brutus by breaking into the commercial side of the market with the first front end PTO side by side industrial vehicle. The Brutus gives the John Deere Gator a run for its money with Brutus and a selection of attachements no other UTV can touch.

Polaris has combined an enclosed cabin, ergonomic joystick controls and a versatile treadle control for rapid forward and back movement to speed the progress. It allows drivers to attach a variety of industrial implements from plows to rakes to brooms and even a forklift onto the front of Brutus easily and quickly. It functions as a bobcat, a tractor bucket, lawn mower, plow and even a snow blower. There isn’t much that Brutus can’t do with a design engineered for endurance, strength, and power.

Polaris also built Brutus with the ability to tow a full ton, and inside it can carry over seventeen hundred pounds with an additional twelve hundred plus pounds in the rear cargo box. Understandably, Brutus is a beast capable of handling any commercial task no matter how large or small. The rear bed is an electrically controlled lift bed allowing easy emptying; it is large as well, easily the size of a shipping crate.

Polaris also thought of driver comfort and outfitted the inside of Brutus with passenger comforts including a fully enclosed cab, a three person bench seat, and the most advanced heating and cooling technology available. All wheel drive capability gives the driver more control over rough terrain but the suspension height is more than adequate with six inches of travel.

Brutus also has a treadle pedal to provide freedom of movement without the transmission. It has an innovative De Dion rear suspension design that allows Brutus to handle the worst abuse thrown at it without jostling it’s occupants. The multi-link coil over rear suspension holds up under any condition. Whether you’ve got heavy loads to hauled away, a deeply rooted tree stuck in the ground, or a ton of snow to move, Brutus comes prepared for it all.

Polaris has shown their determination to be a contender in the commercial market with the introduction of Brutus. This model takes the Gator’s range of farm implements and takes it a giant step further with a ProTach system that not only mounts some of the most popular industrial tools but allows the movement of these tools up and down and back and forth. Careful planning and thought went into outfitting Brutus with as many attachments as possible so that it could be both versatile and useful. Combining technologies to make attaching implements easier and faster shows great innovation. Giving Brutus towing and cargo carrying capabilities further strengthens the amount of tasks that it can handle on a regular basis. The electric tilt bed and climate controlled cab offer comforts for hours of comfort to get the job done.
